THE EMBASSY OF PERU IN SINGAPORE ORGANIZED A PERUVIAN THEMED CHARITY LUNCH

The Embassy of Peru in Singapore and the "Tingkat Circle" group, organized a Peruvian themed charity lunch in the premises of its official residence. The event brought together important personalities of the Singaporean society from the political, business, gastronomic and educational sectors, such as Dr Lee Suan Yew, brother of the founder of Singapore and former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, along with his wife, Pamelia Lee, President of the "Tingkat Circle".

The activity, held on 9 May, served as an occasion to spread the success of our cuisine, highlighting our biodiversity, the contributions of migrants to the Peruvian culture and the active work of our national young chefs. At the end of the event, different prizes allusive to Peruvian culture were raffled among the participants.
