    Embassy of Peru in Singapore participates at the "17th National Youth Achievement Award" Gold Award ceremony On 4 November 2017, the Embassy of Peru in Singapore participated in the ceremony of the "17th National Youth Achievement Award" Gold Award. This distinction seeks to develop personal qualities of self-reliance, perseverance and a sense of responsibility to oneself and to society in young Singaporeans. A total of 180 youth leaders received the award from the new President of Singapore, Mrs. Halimah Yacob.     PERUVIAN EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS VISIT SINGAPORE On October 19 and 20, the Embassy of Peru in Singapore received the visit of representatives of the educational institutions ¨AvantGard¨ Colegios AvantGard and ¨Corporación Educativa del Pacífico¨. The objective of the visit was to establish cooperative relations with Singaporean entities, belonging to the field of basic education.

    Fotoleyenda 376 - 17 ​Hoy, la Embajada del Perú en Singapur hizo entrega del Premio “Varayoc-Embajada de la República del Perú”, a la estudiante Lim Wei Yan del colegio “Raffles Institution” que fue seleccionada entre los graduandos de la promoción del presente año de estudios por sus altas calificaciones y sus dotes de liderazgo. Durante la ceremonia de entrega se destacó el significado del Varayoc como símbolo de liderazgo, responsabilidad y honestidad en el empleo de la autoridad en el Incanato. Cabe destacar que el Raffles Institution es líder en el sector educativo escolar singapurense. De sus aulas han egresado tres de los siete Presidentes de Singapur, así como dos de sus tres Primeros Ministros, incluyendo al fundador del país, Lee Kuan Yew. ​

    Peruvian community in Singapore celebrates the “Día de la Canción Criolla” (Peruvian music) On the occasion of the celebration of the "Día de la Canción Criolla”, the consular section of the Embassy of Peru in Singapore organized a meeting among the members of the Peruvian community residing in the aforementioned city. During the event, held on October 28, the nationals made tribute to the most outstanding exponents of national music and enjoyed a diverse musical repertoire.
